The Pursuit Series offers drivers a more open-ended experience, with checkpoints placed sparsely throughout the map to encourage creative routes - after all, you’ll be competing against your fellow racers, as well as having LSPD’s finest hot on your heels. The Street Race Series delivers exactly what it says on the can: bruising competition on creative tracks built on the streets of some of Los Santos’ most scenic neighborhoods, complete with shortcuts that are as much about risk as they are reward. If that wasn't enough, there will be 17 new cars coming to the game over the summer, 10 of which will be available on July 20. Accompanying these are the Street Race Series and Pursuit Race Series, both offering unique gameplay experiences. These races range from Head-to-Head challenges, tricky Time Trials, Sprint races, and Scrambles where up to four players compete to collect 20 checkpoints. Even more exciting is the new social space known as the LS Car Meet, where you can show off your personalised vehicle, chat with friends and even arrange some races for extra cash. It looks to be a pretty substantial update, as players will be able to engage in Tuner-based missions and races. Plan on doing another one soon, and to organise it more efficiently using the ideas we brainstormed in the retrospective. Overall the experience was good, there was some good enthusiasm from the drivers. The event as a whole was decent too, but there's room for improvement, there's some retrospective we did on the event, and we have got some good ideas for next time. Our first underground street racing event, the turn out was decent.
